Olubadan Will Bring Ibadan To Limelight
The Mogagi Adeyemo Family, Chief Ahmed Abiodun Adeyemo has described the new Olubadan of Ibadan as a resourceful personality that is poised to bring Ibadan to limelight.
Responding to questions from a news hunt, Chief Adeyemo explained that Olubadan of Ibadan Land, Oba Lekan Balogun is fully prepared to bring Ibadan to limelight, stating that the monarch has several programmes in stock which will add value to the people.
He added that a think tank will be appointed to deliberate on the way forward as regards the limelight Ibadan needs to tow in infrastructure development, social integration and tradition.
Chief Adeyemo hinted that Ibadan is unique in Nigeria as the city has its laid down rules and regulations which guide its existence and this will be preserved at all times.
He further stressed the need for the people to support the monarch in prayers and also engage in productive activities that will promote their father land.
He added that the monarch has pledged to ensure that people will be appointed as Mogagi and Chiefs in Ibadan based on merit and according to tradition, while proactive measures will be put in place to make it a reality.
